Mental Track Worx MTW was founded in 2000 as a platform to develop underground dance music which will move the world. Our goal is to release projects from a wide range of artists and producers on an international level.

What sets MTW apart from other labels is a no holds barred approach to blending, banging percussion, bass, and jazz style sounds with a little imagination. The most challenging aspect of this label is the ability to come up with what has never been heard before. Therefore, we have to be about more than just music. MTW MUSIC publishing is the publishing arm of Mental Entertainment. Our goal is to secure commitments from recording artists or producers to include in compositions on future albums or singles.

We will undertake the administration of musical compositions: registering copyrights, filing necessary information to mechanical and performing rights organizations, auditing record companies and other licensees, bookkeeping, negotiating licenses, checking the correctness of incoming royalty statements, and collecting monies due. Given the lack of detail on many royalty statements from licensees, many artists and producers find this service vital. 

We will undertake the promotion of songs for television series, made-for-TV movies, and theatrical motion pictures.  MTW Music will investigate and collect initial synchronization fees for a projects and works included in film. If the motion picture is shown in a foreign country, the song will earn performance royalties. Since many films have soundtrack albums and hit singles, additional royalties will be generated by tape and CD sales, digital subscription services, licensed downloads and streaming, as well as from radio and television performances of the songs on the soundtrack. When the motion picture is finally broadcast on one of the television networks as the "Movie of the Week" or on one of the pay television services (e.g., HBO, Showtime, the Movie Channel), additional royalties will be distributed by SOCAN, ASCAP and BMI, etc.   An important activity MTW Music is the promotion of songs for use as part of advertising campaigns.  MTW Music will also protect its copyrights and enforce the exclusive rights that it has been granted by its songwriter under the copyright laws.
